CBCS Orientation Information
The College of Behavioral and Community Sciences welcomes you to the University of South Florida! As a new student to the University and to the College, it is important that you review each of the following steps below.
Register for Orientation
Orientation is mandatory for all newly admitted USF students. If you have not already you must register for an Orientation. If you do NOT intend to come to USF Tampa, you are in the wrong location, please see USF St. Petersburg, or USF Sarasota/Manatee as Orientation and degree requirements can differ from one another.
Declare your major
Please submit the following Orientation Declaration form to bcs-ugstudentservices@usf.edu
Schedule an Appointment with your Academic Advisor
See our Advising page for individual contact information as well as how to schedule an appointment.
To schedule an appointment, you will need your USF NetID, which is necessary for many other activities as a new USF student. Click here set up/activate your NetID and password.
Register for Classes
You will not be able to Register for classes until you have been issues a time ticket via the Registrar's office. You will get an email notification when you time ticket has been issued.
