Foreign Influence Committee
The University of South Florida's Foreign Influence Committee is dedicated to ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations concerning foreign influence in higher education. The committee is chaired by the Foreign Influence Compliance Officer and is comprised of four separate subcommittees, which focus on Foreign Gifts and Contracts, International Cultural Agreements, Employment of Foreign Researchers, and Business-Related Foreign Travel. These subcommittees are chaired by key university offices, including the Office of Compliance and Ethics, Office of the General Counsel, USF Central Human Resources, and USF Research Integrity and Compliance. The committee works collaboratively with organizational stakeholders across different functional areas to provide guidance and ensure institutional compliance in daily operations across the university.
