Program
Financial Assistance
There are a number of federal grant, loan and repayment programs available to help finance your education. To learn more about financial aid at USF, visit the University Scholarships & Financial Aid Services website.
The College of Education also offers graduate assistantships on a competitive basis. Graduate Assistants are employed by the university to teach, conduct research or carry out other relevant tasks that contribute to the student’s professional development. Information about graduate assistantships can be found on the Office of Graduate Studies website.
Note: Limited funds are also available in the USF Graduate School to assist graduate students
in special circumstances. Typically, these funds are used to support travel for students
who have papers accepted at conferences, to provide research support for out of the
ordinary expenses related to the thesis/dissertation, and emergency tuition assistance.
For travel and research costs, the USF Graduate School requests students to first
approach their department or college for assistance. The USF Graduate School will
then attempt to match the amounts. Please contact the USF Office of Graduate Studies for additional information and application forms.
