Fingerprinting
Undergraduate and Master of Arts in Teaching students in teacher preparation programs will be required to fingerprint as part of the College of Education's admissions process. Begin the fingerprinting process when you are officially admitted to the College of Education. Step 1: Find your program to identify the county(ies) in which you will be able to conduct your clinical experience/internship.

Step 2: After you have identified the county you will conduct your clinical experience in, find that county below. Follow the fingerprinting instructions for your county.
Hillsborough
- Schedule an appointment with Hillsborough County Instructional Services as an Instructional Intern by visiting this website.
- Print Hillsborough County Fingerprint Verification Form
- Bring the accompanying fingerprint verification form (link below) and your appointment confirmation to the Hillsborough County Instructional Services Fingerprinting Department for your scheduled appointment at the following address: 2920 N 40th St. Tampa, FL 33605.
- Please either bring a $70.00 money order with you payable to Hillsborough County Public Schools and a photo ID or pay by credit card for an additional fee of $4.95.
- The Fingerprinting Department will stamp your Fingerprint Verification Form.
- You will need to visit this site after you have been fingerprinted to upload your Fingerprinting Verification Form.
Pasco
- Visit this site
- Follow instructions given for College Interns. The code is: FPPascoIntern.
- You will need to visit this site after you have been fingerprinted to upload proof of fingerprinting. Proof of fingerprinting will be a signed letter from Pasco County Schools that you will receive several days/week after the process is complete.
Pinellas
- Visit this site
- Follow instructions given for College Interns
- You will need to pay the $35 fee, use the calendar to schedule appointment (District Office, Largo), print & take badge photo, and once cleared you will be mailed badge (unless they want to come back to pick up from district office).
- You will need to visit this site after you have been fingerprinted to upload proof of fingerprinting. Proof of fingerprinting may include a stamped or signed form from Pinellas County Schools or a picture of your intern badge.
Polk
- Contact Polk County School District Human Resources Pre-Employment Services for an appointment (863) 534-0781, M-F 7:00am-5:00pm.
- You will need to visit this site after you have been fingerprinted to upload proof of fingerprinting. Proof of fingerprinting may include a stamped or signed form from Polk County Schools or a receipt for the cost of being fingerprinted.
Sarasota
- For those who wish to complete their Level 1 Field Experience in Sarasota County Schools,
please go to the following website:

- Click on “Intern Fingerprinting” soon to be retitle “Intern/Field Experience Fingerprinting”
- Follow the directions on this page.
- Each time you visit your assigned school site, you will check in at the front office with your driver’s license.

Hernando
- Contact program coordinator to approve internship in Hernando county.
- Once approved, complete the internship application.

Manatee
To schedule a fingerprinting appointment, please follow these simple instructions:
- Visit www.fieldprintflorida.com
- Click on the “Schedule an Appointment” button.
- Enter an email address under “New Users/Sign Up” and click the “Sign Up” button. Follow the instructions for creating a Password and Security Question and then click “Sign Up and Continue”.
- Select “I know my Fieldprint Code” and enter one of the codes listed below:
- Intern – Student – Substitute Teacher - NFC Coaching
- FPSDMCCertNonEmp or FPSDMCCertStaff
- Enter the contact and demographic information required by the FBI and schedule a fingerprint appointment at the location of your choosing.
- At the end of the process, print the Confirmation Page. Take the Confirmation Page with you to your fingerprint appointment, along with two forms of identification. (See Frequently Asked Questions for list of identifications accepted.)

Step 3: Submit proof of fingerprinting.

International Students
If you are an international student and do not have a Social Security number, you
may continue with the instructions above, but please contact Dr. Jacobs at jjacobs8@usf.edu with your scheduled date to fingerprint. If you don't inform our office about your
scheduled appointment, this will impact your ability to fingerprint.
