Biography:
Dr. Julia Woodward is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of South Florida. She is the director of The Engaging Computing Design (EnCoDe) Research Lab, which focuses on comprehending how both adults and children use and conceptualize technology to design more effective user experiences. Her main research interests include human-computer interaction, natural user interfaces, and child-computer interaction. She received her PhD in Human-Centered Computing from the University of Florida and was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow.
