Aerospace Engineering Minor
About the program
The aerospace minor is a supplement to the mechanical engineering bachelor's degree and should provide students with a smooth transition to postgraduation.
The program is structured so BSME students may complete 9 additional credits to earn the aerospace minor.

Requirements to complete the minor:
12 credit hours (additional 9 credit hours over BSME)

- Fundamentals of Aerodynamics – EAS 4101
Electives: 6 credit hours
- Bioastronautics – BME 4440
- Propulsion* – EML 4419
- Supersonic and Hypersonic Flow* – EML 4930
- Motion Planning and Control* – EML 4930
- Applied FEA – EML 4536
- Introduction to Composite Materials – EML 4230
