Qua Thomas, a CSE alumnus, was featured in an employee spotlight by the Fortune 500 oil company, Chevron. Qua graduated with a Masters in Information Technology in 2020 and with a BS in Computer Science in 2019. He now works as a cloud developer and software engineer for the Chevron in Houston. On June 19th Chevron announced that Qua was honored by the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Houston Professionals Chapter as the 2023 Young Engineer of the Year.
