Sam Hawkins, graduate student, awarded Editor's Choice

Sam Hawkins

Sam Hawkins, a graduate student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, recently earned "Editor's Choice" for his paper titled "Predicting Malignant Nodules from Screening CTs" published online in July 2016 in the the Journal of Thoracic Oncology. Co-authors are H. Wang, Y. Liu, A. Garcia, O. Stringfield, H. Krewer, Q. Li, D. Cherezov, R. Gatenby, Y. Balagurunathan, D. Goldgof, M. Schabath, L. Hall, and R. Gillies. Sam's PhD advisor is Dr. Hall and co-advisor is Dr. Goldgof.
