USF CSE is one of a handful of computing programs chosen to be an AnitaB.org BRAID
Affiliates Institution in 2020. Notably, “Affiliates are institutions that have committed to
increasing the diversity of their computing departments, but do not receive funding
through
the BRAID initiative. Affiliates participate in BRAID for one year, during which they
learn best
practices from our BRAID Schools.” USF CSE has committed itself to increasing the
percentage
of women and populations underrepresented in computing students across all four undergraduate
degree programs – computer science, computer engineering, information technology,
