Mini Circuits Design for X Laboratory Design and Build Contest Winners Announced

The Mini-Circuits Design for X Laboratory is hosting a Design and Build Contest that will be held every fall and spring semester beginning in fall 2017 through 2023.  All undergraduate students in good academic standing in the College of Engineering are eligible to participate in either teams or individually.

Contestants submit a video describing the design, showing the build and demonstrating the operation of the artifact.  Final videos are judged by a panel of faculty and student peers.  The contest is sponsored by Mini-Circuits and cash awards are given to students placing first, second and third.  This year's winners are:

FIRST PLACE - ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING Senior KIRAN SHILA

SECOND PLACE - MECHANICAL ENGINEERING SENIOR Jeffrey Golabek

THIRD PLACE - ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING SENIOR Coyt Barringer
