GNSI Adds Newest Class to Fellows Roster

With challenges to global stability evolving faster than ever, the Global and National Security Institute at the University of South Florida is growing its ranks of experts to meet the moment. This semester, GNSI welcomes 20 new Non-Resident Distinguished and Senior Fellows: individuals whose experiences span continents, conflict zones, and academic disciplines.

This class reflects the range of GNSI’s mission. It includes leading voices in strategic defense, military innovation, cyber operations, regional and global diplomacy, intelligence, and humanitarian security. Their collective expertise spans from traditional military strategy to the psychological impacts of combat, from cultural diplomacy to counterterrorism operations, and from emerging technologies to historical intelligence practices.

We are excited to announce our latest cohort of Non-Resident Senior and Distinguished Fellows. The Non-Resident Fellows are an important resource for USF and GNSI and we're fortunate to have them. The addition of these scholars and practitioners add to an already impressive group.

Dr. David Oakley
GNSI Academic Director

These fellows are not only scholars and strategists—they are mentors, bridge-builders, and change agents. Their addition reinforces GNSI’s commitment to blending operational experience with academic insight, ensuring that the next generation of security professionals is equipped to navigate an increasingly complex world.
