International symposium explores migration and health in the Americas
The COPH played a prominent role in the first-ever International Symposium on Migration and Health in the Americas, held Sept. 9-10 at the City of Knowledge in Panama. Led by Dr. Arlene Calvo, the event brought together experts from across the Americas to address the growing intersection of migration and public health, with Panama as a key focal point.

Partnership growth in Panama
A team of USF Health professors representing the USF Genomics and Internal Medicine-Infectious Disease traveled to Panama in February. The delegation was focused on strengthening existing Panamanian partnerships, discovering new programs and visiting local health institutions, while providing a forum for the USF faculty to share current research projects.
