Spring 2025: Room Assignment Update

First Year Student Standby List Update

At this time, all rooms designated for first-year student room assignments for the Spring 2025 term have been filled. USF Housing has closed the room assignment process for new students and initiated a standby list. Initiating a standby list does not mean USF Housing is out of beds. Students can sign up for the standby list process in the housing portal. Housing & Residential Education will move through the standby list by assigning students on the list to the next available space on campus, regardless of room type.  It is common for spaces to gradually become available as cancellations are processed.

If you would like to join the standby list, please call the USF Housing office at 813-974-0001.

If you do not wish to participate in the Standby List process, we encourage you to submit a housing cancellation request under the requests tab in the Housing Portal.
