Room Selection: Spring 2024
Step 1: Complete the first 3 Housing Application Steps
Before you can select a room, you must complete the first three housing application steps. If you are a current USF student, you have likely already registered for orientation.
Once these steps are complete, you will receive a message via your USF email indicating the earliest date/time that you will be able to participate in room selection. Check your USF email regularly!
Step 2: Explore hall options
Develop a list of possible buildings you wish to live in. As beds are limited in each building, you should create a list that includes multiple options in ranked order. (Please keep in mind that in the spring semester in particular, availability will be limited.) Explore hall options and view hall rates.
If you are interested in living in a Living Learning Community, please email livinglearning@usf.edu to see if any rooms are avaialble in your desired LLC.
Please note: if you want to live with friends, that may limit your options as availibility is limited.
Step 3: Select your room
Spring 2024 room selection will begin on November 6 and will remain open until all available rooms are selected. Beginning October 30, students will be emailed a room selection time slot.
Remember, you will not be eligible to participate in room selection until the first three housing application steps are completed. Once you complete the first three housing application steps, you will be able to select a room online from the available spaces. Please note that application fee payments take 1 business day to process.
Room Changes
Based on availability, room changes will take place beginning January 22. Housing & Residential Education can not guarantee that there will be rooms available for change, and thus cannot guarantee that room changes will be occuring in Spring 2024.
Roommate gROUPS
Due to limited avaialability, roommate groups will be limited to 2 students. We are not able to guarantee that you will be placed with the roommate(s) of your choice.
