Pete Berardi

Dr. Pete Berardi is a distinguished retired U.S. Navy SEAL Commander. He holds a Ph.D. in Public Service Leadership, specializing in emotional intelligence and authentic Leadership.

Pete specializes in integrating the ethos and organizational dynamics of Navy SEALs and other Special Operations Forces (SOF) into a perspective that enables participants to achieve their personal best.

Dr. Pete Berardi life's journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. With 23 years dedicated to the Navy SEAL Teams, he has been exposed to some of the most intense and critical scenarios known to humankind. From clandestine operations to working collaboratively in diverse teams, Pete’s experiences have honed his understanding of leadership, team dynamics, and peak performance. But beyond the rigorous confines of the Navy, he had the deeply transformative experience of being a 9/11 first responder at the World Trade Center. Such experiences not only shaped his world view but also intensified his commitment to public service – a passion that led him to pursue and attain a Ph.D. in Public Service Leadership. Today, Dr. Berardi channels these rich experiences to inspire and elevate individuals and organizations. As an Executive Coach, he engages in one-on-one sessions, working closely with leaders to tap into their highest potential. His understanding of human behavior, cultivated both from the battlefield and the academic world, allows him to bring forth strategies that catalyze transformation. Moreover, his Leadership and Team Development workshops serve as a nexus of practical experience and contemporary leadership strategies. Whether in-person, virtually, or in a hybrid setting, these sessions are meticulously designed to foster growth, trust, and unparalleled team synergy. Lastly, as a keynote speaker, Pete intertwines stirring narratives from my Navy SEAL days with profound leadership insights, creating an experience that is both moving and educational. Pete considers himself privileged to contribute to the USF community and Central Human Resources, playing a role in nurturing and developing the leaders of both today and tomorrow.

Peg Stookey's Bio

Peg Stookey has learned a lot about careers, and she knows that they don’t always follow a straight path. In fact, it can seem more like traversing a lattice than climbing the typical corporate ladder. Her own career pivoted from life sciences to focusing on family, starting several businesses, and then training to be a career transition/personal branding expert. She describes her journey as a mix of learning, growing, and lots of diligent practice! 
 
Peg is the founder of MaxPotential U, LLC and the creator of numerous programs designed to help professionals climb the ladders and lattices of their careers. She is a career coach and personal brand strategist who takes a positive, strengths-based approach to help her clients move forward in their careers and life.
 
She has been coaching leaders for over 20 years, has helped over 1000 leaders into and through change, and is certified in personal branding, career storytelling, and LinkedIn Profile Creation.
