Work With Us
Working with us
InEd Digital Learning facilitates the development of high-quality online courses at USF. Their highly collaborative development process prioritizes the student experience while ensuring alignment with institutional, state, and national guidelines for online learning. At the center of this process is a close collaboration between USF faculty and InEd Learning Designers, working together to create engaging, student-centered online courses. This partnership ensures that academic expertise and pedagogical best practices shape the course design, resulting in meaningful interaction and lasting impact for students.
Planning for Course Development
Digital Learning offers one-semester development cycles in the fall and spring semesters. Faculty interested in developing or refreshing an online course should contact their college leadership for approval. Once a course is approved for development, the college will coordinate with Digital Learning to submit an intake proposal.
Intake proposals should be submitted at least one semester before the planned course launch.
Course Offering | Proposal Deadline | Development Cycle |
---|---|---|
Spring semester | May 31st | Fall Development Cycle (July – December) |
Fall semester | October 31st | Spring Development Cycle (January – June) |
Summer development can be requested by the college only if there is a special circumstance that requires it. The summer development cycle is highly compressed (May - August), and faculty developers must be able to commit to an accelerated timeline with approval from their college and InEd Digital Learning. Summer intake proposals must be submitted no later than March 31st.
