To uphold academic integrity in line with USF Academic Integrity of Students - Regulation 3.027, you may encounter several specialized apps designed to ensure fairness and honesty in your academic work. These tools are integrated into your courses to monitor and support adherence to the university's standards, helping to maintain a level playing field and promote genuine learning.

Honorlock is an online proctoring service used by USF to monitor exams taken remotely. It helps maintain academic integrity by deterring and detecting cheating, ensuring a fair testing environment for all students.

TurnItIn is the official USF plagiarism detection system. Once applied to a Canvas-based assignment, Turnitin checks the students' submitted papers against a database of previously submitted papers, online papers, and websites. Instructors are provided with a "similarity report" highlighting the matches or similarities to other sources.
