Tampa Campus
The Faculty Production Room at the Tampa Campus provides faculty with essential resources for creating engaging course content. Located on the 6th floor of the library, this space offers a user-friendly environment for instructors to produce professional digital content, including PC and Mac solutions, a "Lightboard" for visualizing materials, and support from the Digital Learning Training and Support team to assist faculty at all experience levels in mastering the technology.
St. Pete Campus
In St. Pete, the library on campus offers valuable resources for faculty, including the recently established Learning Lab on the second floor, primarily designed for faculty training. Equipped with six monitors linked to a single computer and soon-to-be-integrated touchscreens for seamless presentations, the lab fosters collaboration with flexible seating arrangements and a huddle space. Crystal-clear sound is ensured by ceiling-mounted microphones and a sound processor that minimizes background noise in virtual meetings. St. Pete faculty can utilize a recording studio in the library, featuring a large glass screen, green screen, and podcast area for recording course content.
Sarasota Manatee Campus
On the Sarasota-Manatee campus, faculty will soon have access to two new spaces provided by InEd. The first is the Faculty Production Room, equipped with a green screen, professional video cameras, and cutting-edge editing software for recording lectures and digital content. The second space, the Digital Learning Studio, is currently under construction and will feature a curved backdrop to enhance visual elements in video content. With a significant portion of classes being taught online, these resources will be essential for faculty in delivering high-quality instruction.
