Get paid while earning a Masters degree in Oceanography
Are you interested in graduate school, but aren’t ready to commit to a Ph.D. program?
Did you know that the USF College of Marine Sciences will pay you to earn your M.S. in a variety of oceanographic specialties? Most oceanography schools will make you pay to get an M.S., but not USF CMS.
The Rafter lab is currently looking for a student to lead one of these 2 projects:
1: Atlantic Ocean circulation changes over the past 10,000 years (a.k.a., North Atlantic Deep Water formation)
2: Examining the global relationship between marine nitrogen, iron, and carbon (a.k.a., carbon export in iron-limited waters)
Students leading either project will earn their Masters of Science (M.S.) in Chemical Oceanography, with the option to stay on for a Ph.D.
Contact Patrick Rafter for more information.
