Glider Deployments

Glider depolyment USF glider team Marine Science

Glider surveys are routinely conducted by the USF Glider Team with funding support from the State of Florida and the Gulf of Mexico Coastal Ocean Observing System (GCOOS). Each glider is equipped with a standard sensor package (CTD, Chl-a and CDOM fluorometer(s), DO sensor). All glider data is publicly available through the GCOOS Gulf AUV Network and Data Archiving Long-term Storage Facility (GANDALF).

This research is made possible with funding support from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC Agreement No. 20035) in partnership with Mote Marine Laboratory.
