Faculty Credentialing
To conform to the highest standards of academic excellence, the University of South Florida must ensure that all instructors of record are academically qualified to teach in the content area, regardless of rank or term of appointment. Academic departments at the University of South Florida are responsible for ensuring that all instructors of record for credit-bearing courses are credentialed for the courses they teach. The resources published here provide an overview of the university’s policies and procedures for ensuring continuous compliance.

Credentialing of faculty is governed by USF Policy 10-115 and SACSCOC Comprehensive Standard 6.2.

Xitracs Credentials MODULE
The Xitracs Credentials module is used to enter & store credentialing information of the faculty members for each department & college.
