Application Process

  1. Complete the online application:
    http://bit.ly/apply-pcgs
  2. Select your concentration.
  3. Upload the following documents:
    • statement of purpose (up to 350 words) for pursuing this degree and why you are interested in sustainability.
    • A resume or CV.
    • Unofficial transcripts for degrees earned at any institution other than the University of South Florida.
    • At least two letters of recommendation.
  4. Mail official transcripts.

We suggest you send transcripts via certified U.S. mail and retain the receipt

REQUIREMENTS:

Must meet University Admission and English Proficiency Requirements, as well as requirements for admission to the major, listed below.

  • Statement of Purpose (Up to 350 words including the student's academic and professional background, choice of concentration, reasons for pursuing this degree, and their professional goals in terms of contributing to global sustainability).
  • At least two letters of recommendation from professors or supervisors (signed, dated, and on official letterhead).
  • Resume
  • No GRE required.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

International students who have not completed a bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. institution and do not have a GPA on a 4.0 scale, must submit a transcript evaluation that outlines U.S. degree equivalency, along with a GPA estimation.

Non-English transcripts must be translated by a foreign transcript evaluation service that certifies the U.S. degree equivalency and GPA estimation.

SUBMIT YOUR FINAL TRANSCRIPTS

Please note: If admitted, your admission is contingent upon submitting final college transcripts before the first day of classes. Learn more about how to submit your final transcripts.
