Area Attractions

Our Tampa campus is centrally located amongst the city's most vibrant attractions. Spend a day touring Tampa's historic Ybor City and browse eclectic shops, art galleries, and sample the array of Latin food that the city is famous for.

Enjoy Tampa's beautiful weather as you explore Busch Gardens. This African-inspired theme park allows guests to get within feet of exotic, endangered animals from the Serengeti, watch live performances, and ride thrilling roller coasters. If roller coasters aren't your thing and you prefer flying down water slides on a sunny day, Adventure Island is the place for you.

Visit the Florida Aquarium, home to over 10,000 aquatic plants and animals from around the world. Or, check out Zoo Tampa at Lowry Park, voted "#1 Family Friendly Zoo in America" by Child Magazine.

If you are looking to have fun AND do a little bit of learning, check out the Museum of Science and Industry, or MOSI for short. Featuring more than 450 hands-on-activities, MOSI is the largest science center in the southeastern U.S. It is also home to Florida's only IMAX Dome Theatre.

Tampa also has several shopping venues for those wishing to indulge in a little retail therapy. Go shopping at either Westshore Plaza or International Plaza, which features over 200 specialty stores and is adjacent to Tampa International Airport. Or, visit one of Tampa's oldest neighborhoods, Hyde Park Village, which offers a unique, outdoor shopping experience as well as several entertaining nightlife options.

The Tampa Bay area has something for everyone.
