MGC & NPHC CONVOCATION

Attend Convocation if you are interested in joing an MGC or NPHC organization.
The MGC & NPHC Convocation is a mandatory informational session for students interested in joining a Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) or National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) organization. Hosted at the beginning of each semester, this event provides an overview of the history, values, and membership intake process for culturally-based fraternities and sororities. Attendees learn about the benefits of joining, expectations for new members, and how to navigate the recruitment process. Business casual attire is required.

This event highlights performances from MGC and NPHC fraternities and sororities.
The Summer Yard Show is a vibrant cultural showcase featuring performances from MGC and NPHC fraternities and sororities. The event highlights stepping, strolling, and saluting traditions while fostering unity among culturally-based organizations. Held in the summer before the fall semester, the yard show serves as a welcome-back event and an introduction to Fraternity and Sorority Life at USF. Students interested in joining MGC or NPHC organizations can learn more about them through performances and networking opportunities.

Bring your family and enjoy this fun, friendly Halloween event!
This is a family-friendly, Halloween-themed event where fraternity and sorority members host activities, games, and candy giveaways for children in the local community. Held in USF Greek Village, this annual event provides a safe and festive environment for families to celebrate Halloween.
WELCOME BACK JAM

The Welcome Back Jam is a high-energy social event designed to reunite the fraternity and sorority community at the start of the fall semester. Featuring music, food, and performances from MGC and NPHC organizations, the event offers an opportunity for students to connect with Fraternity and Sorority Life, meet chapter members, and kick off the new semester. Open to all students, the Welcome Back Jam is a staple event that fosters a sense of belonging and campus engagement.
WOW KICKBACK

Learn about Fraternity and Sorority life, meet members, and enjoy entertainment at this signature social event during WOW!
The WOW Kickback is a signature event during USF’s Week of Welcome (WOW), providing students with a relaxed and engaging introduction to fraternity and sorority life. This event includes live performances, networking opportunities, and free food, all while highlighting the cultural pride of MGC and NPHC organizations. It’s an inclusive space for students to learn about Fraternity and Sorority Life and meet potential new members in a fun and social atmosphere.

NATIONAL HAZING PREVENTION WEEK

Bulls Don't Haze! Everyone is invited to join members for a variety of events centered around promoting safe and respectful campus.
National Hazing Prevention Week (NHPW) is an annual campaign dedicated to educating students about hazing, promoting a culture of respect, and encouraging students to take a stand against harmful traditions. The week includes workshops, panel discussions, and social media campaigns aimed at fostering a safer and more inclusive fraternity and sorority experience. Open to all students, NHPW is observed each September.

During this week of events, members celebrate the core pillars of our community and invite all students to cheer on our team compitions and attend events open to all students.
Values Celebration Week is an annual series of events celebrating the core pillars of fraternity and sorority life: Integrity, Learning, Leadership, and Service. This week-long initiative includes educational programs, philanthropy events, and friendly competitions among chapters. Teams earn points throughout the week, with the highest-scoring group earning the Values Celebration Week Championship. The event is open to all FSL members and fosters unity across councils.

COUNCIL OFFICER RETREAT

Executive board member of our governing councils are encouraged to attend this retreat.
The Council Officer Retreat is a leadership development program designed for executive board members of our governing councils: Interfraternity Council (IFC), Multicultural Greek Council (MGC), National Pan- Hellenic Council (NPHC), Panhellenic Association (PHA), and Order of Omega (OOO). The retreat offers training on governance, collaboration, and goal-setting while allowing officers to network and plan for the semester. Activities include leadership workshops, cross-council discussions, and strategic visioning. The retreat takes place in annually as officers transition into their roles.
OLYMPIAN SUMMIT

This is the premier leadership conference for emerging FSL leaders!
The Olympian Summit is a premier leadership conference for emerging fraternity and sorority leaders at USF. The event features engaging workshops and interactive discussions The program challenges attendees to reflect on their leadership impact and explore ways to strengthen their chapters and councils. The summit is open to fraternity and sorority members looking to enhance their leadership skills.

FRATERNITY AND SORORITY LIFE AWARDS AND ACCREDITATION

This formal event celebrates accomplishments within the community during the past academic year.
The FSL Awards and Accreditation program recognizes excellence within the fraternity and sorority community. Chapters and individuals are honored for their achievements in leadership, service, academics, and chapter operations. The FSL Awards Ceremony, held annually in the spring, is a formal event celebrating these accomplishments and fostering pride within the community. Accreditation ensures chapters uphold university and national standards, promoting accountability and excellence. This program is designed for chapter leaders, council officers, and members dedicated to organizational and personal growth.
