Overview

As the heart of the USF Tampa campus, it is our purpose and desire to be a connection between students and student involvement. As a result, in the MSC you will find the Student Life Tower that houses different departments where students can get involved and find their fit within campus life

The Student Life Tower is located in the North-East corner of the building and is home to the following offices and organizations:

Parent & Family Engagement

The Office of Parent & Family Engagement is located inside the New Student Connections office and provides the support families need to help their student be successful during their college years.

 

Orientation

OFFICE OF MULTICULTURAL AFFAIRS

The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) aims to prepare students for a global society.  While promoting intercultural dialog, awareness, advocacy and respect, OMA helps students understand and appreciate a multitude of identities and creates a welcoming environment enabling students to become conscientious global citizens.

Learning opportunities and experiences with the Dean of Students extend beyond the classroom.  The mission of the Dean of Students Office is to support student learning and development through community building, advocacy, and student engagement.

 

STUDENT GOVERNMENT

The mission of the Student Government (SG) at USF is to ensure an optimal student experience by advocating on behalf of the student body, shaping university policy, and fostering school pride. SG allocates students’ activities and service fees to student success departments and student organizations.

 

MSC Event & Meeting Services

In addition to comfortable lounge spaces where students can eat, study and hang out with friends, the MSC also offers over 50,000 square feet of event and conference space serving student organizations, departments and off-campus guests.  The event office can assist you in planning a simple meeting through a large-scale conference.
