Our Purpose

Mission and Purpose

Student Conduct and Ethical Development's mission is to provide for the safety and well being of the University environment; to aid in the growth and development of a student as related to a student's behavior; and to serve as the management agency for the University Conduct System.

Student Conduct and Ethical Development's goal is to encourage and develop standards of behavior and critical thinking that will create a community of leaders and citizens' and enhance the USF environment for community members living, studying and working within the University. By engaging students in one-on-one interactions with staff trained in student development and through group interactions with the University Conduct Board, USF students are challenged to assess and reassess their framework of principles and behavioral norms that support a healthy community.
