Enhanced General Education Assessment
On April 20th, 2020 the General Education Council voted to implement an assessment refresh which aims at making the assessment process more efficient for faculty and obtaining more student feedback. This refresh was agreed to by faculty from all three USF campuses. Below, you can find information on the updated plan, new resources for faculty, and current data on student performance.
Enhanced General Education Assessment Plan
This section presents the Enhanced General Education Assessment Plan including the background and rationale, the standard student learning outcomes (SLOs), the detailed standard rubrics for assessing the SLOs, and the updated process of assessment.
Assessment Data
This section will take you to the Enhanced General Education Dashboard where you can see the most current data on student performance in the enhanced curriculum. A USF NetID is required to view the data. Data will be updated at the end of each semester.
Faculty Resources
This section has helpful resources for faculty teaching in the Enhanced General Education curriculum. These resources will help you implement the updated assessment plan and include information on how to use the new Canvas Outcomes feature for scoring.
