JMLC Selfless Service Scholarship

About the Scholarship

This scholarship will recognize one ROTC student from each service ROTC program for demonstrating outstanding leadership and includes a monetary award. The award is presented at an end of year Awards Ceremony hosted by each ROTC unit.

Funds for the scholarship are raised from the JMLC Brick Program and individual donations.

 

- Donations for the JMLC Scholarship Fund (#730001) can be made via the USF Foundation.

Selection Process

One cadet/midshipman/active duty personnel from each ROTC service will be selected to receive this award  to be presented at a major awards ceremony at the end of the academic year. Selection will be determined by either the service cadre/staff or student ROTC leadership staff.

Selection Criteria 

The recipient must:

- Reflect a positive attitude towards the respective service ROTC and Joint Military Leadership programs.

- Possess outstanding officer potential by exemplifying self to the highest standards of conduct and the respective service’s core values.

- Demonstrate outstanding performance in Cadet/Midshipmen staff or leadership positions, project officer duties, or service project leadership.
