About Us
Dr. Chandra Davis, Ed.D.
Please join us in wishing the best for one of OTSS's founding staff members, Dr. Chandra
Davis. She has been a proud member of the USF community since 2002 and is ending her
time at USF at the end of the year for other opportunities to continue the great work
she has done and will continue to do! We will miss her dearly and all that she did
for transfer students at USF and in the FCS community!
One of the highlights of her career has been her work with Transfer Students, where
she focused on creating opportunities and programs to support their success. Developing
the Transfer Engagement and Achievement Mentorship (T.E.A.M.) program was particularly
rewarding for her, as it was inspired by her own experiences as a transfer student.
Dr. Davis's goal has always been to ensure that USF Transfer Students feel valued
and included, and the T.E.A.M. program embodies that commitment.
USF has given her so much and she has always wanted to give back. Dr. Chandra Davis
made sure to mention that if she had not been employed with USF that she probably
would not have been able to achieve her educational goals. USF enabled her to earn
her Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees without incurring any student loan
debt. This is an achievement that makes her tenure here particularly meaningful and
rewarding.
