Water Conservation

To conserve water usage, USF’s existing buildings have been retrofitted with motion sensing automatic faucets and flush valves.

Water Saving Tips:

• Turn off the water while you are brushing your teeth
• When you wash your hands, wet your hands with water and soap, turn off the water while washing for the designated time, turn the water back on to rinse
• Limit your time in the shower
• Toilets are not waste baskets –avoid using the toilet to dispose of items that do not belong in the toilet
• Avoid using a garbage disposal for your food waste. Garbage disposals requirea lot of water. Instead, scrape your food into the trash.
