Vehicle Maintenance

The Vehicle Maintenance Unit is responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs for all university-owned cars, trucks, vans, tractors, carts, boats, and turf equipment as well as in-house welding and fabrication services. The Vehicle Maintenance Unit employs ASE certified master technicians.

Vehicle Maintenance offers emergency service to university vehicles on campus that are in need of towing due to a breakdown or accident.

Fueling of University Vehicles

USF Vehicles can be fueled at the fueling station located in Lot 28 (view directions and map). Billing for fuel service is automated and billed monthly to the individual departmental accounts.  The station offers unleaded gasoline and diesel. Departments interested in using the facilities must have a University staff ID and submit a Gas Pump Authorization Form. Questions concerning the fueling program should be directed to the Vehicle Maintenance Shop (Extension 4-2500).
