Why a Degree in Integrative Biology?
The Department of Integrative Biology is committed to train graduate students to prepare them for professional success in the fields of biological sciences that mirror our faculty's expertise. Our program of graduate study is designed to foster the development of technical and analytical skills used in existing and emerging fields of discovery.
Increasingly, students are given opportunities to include an international experience in their research projects and also be involved in outreach activities. The research and training ongoing in the Department of Integrative Biology contributes to advancements in both basic science and applications to real world problems.
The Master of Science in Biology and the Doctor of Philosophy in Integrative Biology are offered at the Tampa campus in three areas of concentration: Ecology and Evolution, Environmental and Ecological Microbiology, and Physiology and Morphology. The Master of Science in Conservation Biology is offered through the St. Petersburg campus.
