Biography
At USF, she has served as department chair, graduate director, and interim undergraduate director in the Department of Women’s, Gender, & Sexualities Studies and as interim director in the Zimmerman School of Advertising & Mass Communications. She has chaired the USF Title IX Committee and the Women’s Caucus of the National Communication Association. She earned a Top Scholar Award from the Organization for Research on Women and Communication, and she has been visiting faculty on diversity at The Poynter Institute for Media Studies. Her consulting clients have included Walt Disney World Resorts, Progressive Insurance, and Publix Super Markets.
