Aleidys Lopez Romero
I am Aleidys Lopez Romero (she/her/ella), a first year M.A. in Women's and Gender Studies student at the University of South Florida. I completed my B.A. in Women's Studies and Sustainability at the University of Florida in the Spring of 2023. Since graduating, I have worked at a domestic violence center and currently work as the Communications and Administrative Coordinator at the Refugee & Migrant Women's Initiative. My research passions lie in studying violence against women, with the desire to establish a career in nonprofit work focused around women's empowerment. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, camping, and spending time with family.
