For Students

Seeking sophomore or junior students interested in research experience in the Child Language and Bilingualism Lab in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders! 

The Director of the Child Language and Bilingualism Lab (CLBL), Dr. Jisook Park, is recruiting current second-year or third-year students for research opportunities. Students who apply and are accepted will have a probationary period for a semester, which will be followed by payment afterward upon agreement between both parties. 

Duties & Training:

  • Training in language and cognitive tests
  • Training in functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS)
  • Participant recruitment, screening and schedulin
  • Participation in data collection
  • Data entry and management
  • Manuscript preparation for publication 

Eligibility:

  • Must be a sophomore or junior
  • Can commit to 7-10 hours weekly
  • Interested in child language disorders & behavioral and brain research
  • Have a minimum 3.5 GPA
