Erin is a native of Lexington, KY, where in high school she initially worked with Dr. McGladrey on The Girl Project, The Girl Project: Next Generation, and PHDivas. She attended Northeastern University in Boston and graduated in 2021 with a B.S. in Biology and minor in Writing. She returned to Lexington to work in the hands-on scientific field and discovered that while she enjoys the culture of continuous learning, her passion is for mental health care access and awareness. She is currently pursuing an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of the Cumberlands and hopes to be able to give back and serve Lexington and the surrounding communities after graduation. She has worked on coding with Dr. McGladrey in the past, and her current projects include coding for the Defining Communities study, analysis for the Lexington-Fayette County Photovoice project, and developing a proposal for the Kentucky Association of Sexual Assault Programs conference. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, watching 90 Day Fiancé with her family, and visiting parks and arcades with her partner.
