Jordan Stonecypher

Jordan Stonecypher, currently based in Asheville, North Carolina, and is getting her Masters in clinical mental health counseling, with a dual licenssure in school counseling at Lenoir Rhyne University. In addition to this, at 22 years old, she co-founded the Lean On Me project, along with Amy Falk-Weinberger, a program based in Sarasota, Florida, that bridges mental health and education together for schools in Sarasota county. While studying psychology at Lynn University for her bachelor's degree, she became involved in many research projects- sparking her love and passion for conducting research. Jordan hopes to use this passion for research to learn about people and find ways to support their well-being. Her goal in the future is to continue to grow the Lean On Me Project, practice mental health counseling and school counseling, while shooting to get a PhD in the psychology field. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her dog, going outside, and creating art.
