Engineering Email Broadcasts
Instructions for announcement distributions in Engineering
College Faculty and College Broadcast (Faculty and Staff) announcements, Scholarship/Fellowship opportunities for Graduate Engineering Students, and Events for Engineering Students, please contact Catherine Burton.
Sender should:
- Put exactly what you want in the Subject line and in the body of the email. Except for removing a short message (e.g. ‘please forward to Broadcast and copy to Communications’), the email will be forwarded without change.
- Any announcements which may generate questions (e.g. "Is the presentation on TEAMs?") should have contact information in the flyer.
- If there are any links, the attachment should be a PDF, but otherwise can be jpg.
- The sender is responsible for proofreading and checking URL links before sending anything to the College. We do not send out reminder emails, and do not want to send ‘correction’ announcements.
For student group events, this is also needed:
- Is the event is for: Undergraduate Students, Graduate Students, or both?
- Please 'cc' your faculty advisor on the email.
- If it's an event that should be posted on social media, let us know and we'll copy our Marketing and Communication team, so that you don't have to send them an additional email.

Job opportunities for Engineering Students, please contact Carol Marrero-Placeres, Dean's Office. She will need to know if the information is for grad students, UG students, or both.
