HONORS LIVING LEARNING COMMUNITY (LLC)

One benefit of being a Judy Genshaft Honors College student is the opportunity to live in a dedicated residential community of Honors peers called an Honors Living Learning Community (LLC).

Available on all three USF campuses, Honors LLCs are an enriched residential experience that allows Honors students to enjoy the convenience of living on campus surrounded by peers who share similar academic, career and co-curricular interests.

As members of the Honors LLC, students will enjoy special programs focused on academic and holistic student support, and activities related to personal development, career exploration and networking, community engagement, and connecting with Honors faculty and alumni.

BENEFITS OF LIVING IN THE HONORS LLC

All Honors LLCs offer specialized programming for Honors students, such as career workshops, study away/abroad opportunities, service learning, fun social events, and more.

As a member of an Honors LLC, students will enjoy:

• Living with other highly engaged Judy Genshaft Honors College students in an active and close-knit community
• Additional access to academic resources, such as advising, faculty engagement and mentoring, and professional development activities
• Support in achieving both academic and extracurricular goals

With extra opportunities to explore research projects, gain global experiences, and participate in community service, the Honors LLC also provides numerous opportunities for students to work towards completion of their Honors curriculum.

HOW TO APPLY TO THE JUDY GENSHAFT HONORS COLLEGE LEARNING LIVING COMMUNITY

To gain admission to the Honors LLC, you will need to be admitted to the Judy Genshaft Honors College, submit a general housing application, and select Honors as your preferred residential community.
