COMMUNITY SERVICE
We believe learning extends beyond the four walls of the classroom. The people and
places in our communities offer lessons that complement and reinforce classroom-based
learning. Students will accumulate 50 hours of community service while at USF, in their hometown or Tampa Bay community.
All Judy Genshaft Honors College students will receive a $600 scholarship after completing the Community Service Requirement.
GLOBAL EXPERIENCE
Global awareness is a critical element in the education of twenty-first century leaders.
Students
have the opportunity to choose two activities from among a variety of meaningful options to build global knowledge and to develop
competency in cultural interactions. Honors students will develop these qualities
through activities outlined in our Global Experience Program.
All Judy Genshaft Honors College students will receive a $600 scholarship after completing the Global Experience Requirement.
