Master of Science (M.S.) in Global Sustainability
The Master of Science (M.S.) in Global Sustainability offers five (5) concentrations, available in a traditional on-campus, blended hybrid or fully online formats: Sustainable Energy, Water Sustainability, Food Sustainability and Security, Sustainable Transportation, and Entrepreneurship. The Patel College of Global Sustainability offers a dynamic graduate curriculum, cutting-edge research projects, top-notch internship experiences, and an overall academically superior education for our students.
Our graduate program is unique because we offer the best sustainability experiential learning opportunities for our students. This interdisciplinary program is designed around a curriculum of natural sciences, engineering, social sciences and business studies, and will prepare students to address complex local, regional, national, and global challenges related to water management, renewable energy, food resources, sustainable transportation planning and green entrepreneurship with the ability to innovate in security, sustainability and resilience contexts. The interconnections between many fields are highlighted with emphasis placed on systems and nexus thinking, circular economies, sustainable development goals, and the triple bottom line of people, planet and prosperity.
All M.S. and M.A. students are provided with career preparation and professional development oppurtunities through participation in PCGS Global Sustainability Conferences, Sustainability Speaker Series, Sustainability Certification Workshops, Strategic Internships and Applied Projects to give students a superior education that prepares them for diverse careers and professional oppurtunities in sustainability.
Master of Arts (M.A.) in Global Sustainability
The Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Global Sustainability provides students with a broad education in sustainability studies and applied practices that enable humanity to address current pressing issues facing global ecosystems and to ensure a sustainable future. The interconnections between many fields are highlighted with emphasis placed on systems and nexus thinking, circular economies, sustainable development goals, and the triple bottom line of supporting people, planet and prosperity.

The M.A. in Global Sustainability offers four concentrations: Climate Mitigation and Adaptation, Sustainable Tourism, Sustainability Policy, and Sustainable Business. All concentrations are offered in online, on-campus, and blended formats.
