Joel Brown

Joel currently serves as Interagency Water Manager for Pinellas County Utilities. In this role he acts as liaison to numerous external agencies and municipal customers to ensure the safe and reliable provision of water and wastewater services to more than half a million residents and visitors of Pinellas County daily. Over the past decade, Joel has also served as District Assistant to a U.S. House Member, Regional Manager and Capitol Press Secretary to Florida’s Chief Financial Officer, and most recently as Senior Government Affairs Manager of the Tampa Bay Region for the Southwest Florida Water Management District.  As 3rd generation native of the Tampa Bay region, lifelong Floridian, and proud USF Alumnus, Joel is dedicated to protecting the water resources of west-central Florida through water supply planning, demand management & conservation, and watershed management.
