On October 22nd, a TedxTalk featuring our own Dr. Joseph Dorsey was released. Dr. Dorsey is PCGS’ Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Director of the Food Security and Sustainability concentration. His Tedx Talk is entitled "Urban Agriculture and Food Security in the Age of Climate Change" and centers on how climate change and urbanization is affecting agriculture and food security. According to his presentation, the "human population will increase 50% by 2030. So, hunger, famine, drought, food shortages and poverty will likely threaten food security." Topics such as these are included in the M.A. program curriculum. Congratulations, Dr. Dorsey on the release of your video!
