Researchers studying connection between gut health and brain function
Researchers at USF are launching a research study for people who are concerned about their brain health, cognitive impairment and dementia and the link to their gut health. They will track alterations in the gut microbiomes to see if certain biomarkers can accurately predict which individuals are most likely to develop cognitive impairment or dementia.

When attendees toured the new 120,000 sq. ft. facility, they were greeted by many of our USF CONNECT companies—both from the Tampa Bay Technology Incubator and the Student Innovation Incubator.
