Graphable Receives National Science Foundation Grant with Goal of Early Infectious Disease Detection
Graphable, along with the University of South Florida, has received a National Science Foundation grant focused on the utilization of advanced mathematical concepts and their application in predictive analysis and in identifying patterns and trends present when faced with early disease detection and prevention initiatives (IT News Online).
USF and NOAA Launch Cooperative Ocean Mapping Center
The University of South Florida’s College of Marine Science has been awarded a five-year, US$9 million cooperative agreement by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Office of Coast Survey to launch the Center for Ocean Mapping and Innovative Technologies (Hydro International).

USF St. Petersburg campus awarded a $25,000 grant from Ford Motor Company Fund to fight food insecurity through urban farming
USF’s St. Petersburg campus is one of only seven higher education institutions across the nation to receive a grant through the 2020 Ford College Community Challenge. A $25,000 grant from the Ford Motor Company Fund is going towards a project that will promote food security in South St. Petersburg by producing up to 150 pounds of fresh vegetables for the community each month.
