Meet the Team
Jennifer DiPrete
Director
Jennifer earned her master's degree in Health Promotion and Wellness Management and her bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Services, both from Springfield College in Springfield, MA. She is a certified worksite wellness program manager and her work focuses on holistic health and wellness, behavior modification, sleep, and stress management. As the director of the Center for Student Well-Being, she oversees a department that provides programs, activities, and information designed to keep USF students well-balanced and successful in college.
Courtney Becker
Assistant Director
Courtney earned her master's degree in Health Science, specializing in Community Health Education and Health Administration, and her bachelor's degree in Health Science, both from Towson University in Towson, MD. Courtney is a Certified Health Education Specialist and provides oversight of the Center for Student Well-Being in the Marshall Student Center, the Wellness Living Learning Community, and Nutrition/Healthy Eating programs.
Rachael Novick
Health Promotion Specialist
Rachael earned her master's degree in Public Health in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of Michigan, and her bachelor's degree in Health Service Administration from Ohio University. Rachael is a Certified Health Education Specialist and is the main point of contact for outreach and presentations on behalf of the Center for Student Well-Being. As the REACH Peer Education advisor, Rachael is actively involved with awareness campaigns and programs run by this organization.
Amy Gatto
Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Coordinator
Amy earned her master's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
in Health Behavior and her bachelor's degree in Human Services from Elon University.
Amy works to create an environment where the healthy choice is the easiest and most
accessible. She partners with campus and community organizations on a number of high-risk
drinking and substance use prevention initiatives.
Katie Jones
Registered Dietitian
Katie is a Registered and licensed Dietitian who specializes in promoting nutrition-specific
topics through the Center for Student Well-Being. She graduated from Georgia Southern
University with a bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Food Science and earned her master's
degree in Public Health from USF.
Alexander Kloehn
Registered Dietitian and Health Promotion Specialist
Alexander earned a dual-master's degree in Public Health in Human Nutrition (Dietetics)
and Health Behavior/Health Education from the University of Michigan, and a bachelor's
degree in Genetics from the University of California Davis. Alexander is in charge
of nutrition and physical activity education and promotion on campus, and also provides
nutritional support to students in the Center for Student Well-Being in the Marshall
Student Center. His primary interests lie in the promotion of healthy behavior changes
that will sustain and support student success.
