PASS
PASS-Supported Courses
PASS is implemented in historically challenging courses. All students in a PASS-supported course are encouraged to attend study sessions – not just those who are struggling. Because difficult courses are targeted, rather than individual students, study sessions are not remedial in nature. PASS can help boost test averages and final letter grades if attended regularly.
Even if a PASS Leader is not present in your specific section, study sessions are available to any student enrolled in the course*. Currently, study sessions for all math and writing subjects that receive PASS-support are open to all students. However, study sessions for science courses are limited to only students enrolled in a specific instructor’s course. The following courses offer PASS.
Writing - open
- ENC 1101: Composition I
- ENC 1102: Composition II
- ENC 3250: Professional Writing
