Scholarships & Funding
Scholarships
Overview
USF has worked hard to raise money for Education Abroad programs because we know the positive impact the opportunity brings to our students. However, this funding is limited and selection is highly competitive. Between 2018 - 2024, we were only able to award an average of about 15% of applicants each semester.
Why do additional funding planning?
Students need to plan ahead for their study abroad program to ensure they can fully embrace the experience without financial stress. While studying abroad offers unparalleled academic, cultural, and personal growth opportunities, it also comes with expenses such as travel, accommodation, souvenirs, excursions, and daily living costs. Adequate financial planning allows students to cover these costs and participate in enriching activities and excursions that enhance their overall experience.
