Application Process
Your Resume
Law schools want to see well rounded applicants with learning experience outside of the classroom. This can include work experience, extracurricular activities, special accolades and honors, and skills/certifications.
Examples of extracurricular activities include:
- Joining a sports team
- Being part of student organizations
- Taking part in community service
- Mentoring students
- Conducting research or helping on a research project
Remember that not all experience on your application have to be law related. There are many ways to gain the skills needed to be successful in law school and that includes activities and work experience that aren’t necessarily law related.
