Application Process
Transcripts
LSAC requires that all law school applicants submit transcripts from all post-secondary institutions that they have attended. These official transcripts can be requested from your institutions, and your institution(s) will need to send them directly to LSAC. This includes any institutions that you may have attended but never finished your degree.
For students who studied abroad for less than a year through their previous institution, you do not need to submit an official transcript from that international university. For students who studied abroad longer than a year and were directly enrolled at an international university, you will need to submit an official transcript.
Remember, do not delay in sending your transcripts to LSAC. Once they arrive at LSAC, it can take at least two weeks to process your transcripts. Your application cannot be sent out to the law schools until all transcripts are received and verified so it is recommended to get an early start at requesting the transcripts from your institution(s).
More detailed information regarding submitting transcripts to LSAC can be found here.
